Kimberly McCarten

Kimberly McCarten is a visionary executive and thought leader with deep expertise in health and human services, strategy, fund development, innovation, and growth. Over her 30-year career, she has led mergers, strategic planning, fund development, program growth, marketing and brand initiatives, and board and team development.

As a consultant at Curtis Strategy, her focus is on strategic and program planning, merger and affiliation strategy, and organization design to help non-profit organizations scale and accelerate their growth, identify business opportunities, improve performance, and achieve their organizational goals.

As past President & CEO of The Arc of Palm Beach County, she achieved exponential growth despite statewide financial challenges, completing two mergers that integrated school district learning centers, residential living, and employment initiatives, to support children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Kimberly currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is Chair of Arc Florida’s Annual Statewide Conference.  She is the past chair of branding & marketing for The Arc of Florida and has been recognized for her leadership and innovation numerous times by local, state, and National associations and organizations including The Arc of the United States.
